We are a community-based aquatics program dedicated to providing the youth of North County San Diego, including Rancho Bernardo and Rancho Penasquitos, the opportunity to be the best that they can be. A professional staff guides all of SDAC's aquatics programs.

SDAC offers the following programs: pre-competitive swim prgram, competitive swim program, pre-competitive summer swim team, swim lessons and private lessons.   Please see our Programs page for a description.

CIF Championships Results 2012
May 16th - Prelim results
Trent Williams - Trent competed in the 200 free and the 100 free individual events.  He swam best times of the season in both placing 1st going into finals on Saturday.  His 100 free and 200 free times were both All-American times.  He also is a member of the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay that will be competing on Saturday.

Tanner Williams - Tanner competed in the 200 IM and the 100 fly individual events.  He swam best times of the season in both events going into finals on Saturday at 10th in the 200 IM and 4th in the 100 fly.  He is also a member of the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay that will be competing on Saturday.

Jack Bell - Jack competed in the 100 breast individual event.  He will be going into finals on Saturday at 7th.  He is also a member of the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay that will be competing on Saturday.

Palomar League Championships 2012 Results for SDAC Swimmers
Trent Williams - He placed 1st in the 50 free and 1st in the 100 breast.  Trent also set 2 new league records in these events.  The old record in the 50 free was set back in 2001 with a time of 21.35.  The new record is now a 21.19.  The old record in the 100 breast was set back in 1999 with a time of 58.58.  The new record is now a 58.20.  Trent was  also a member of the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay which both took 1st place.

Tanner Williams - He placed 3rd in the 200 IM and 2nd in the 100 fly.  He was also a member of the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay which both took 1st place.

Jack Bell - He placed 8th in the 200 IM and 6th in the 100 breast.  He was also a member of the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay which both took 1st place.

Taylor Reed - She placed 16th in the 50 free and 15th in the 100 free.

Summer Swim Programs offered at Rancho Bernardo High school
SDAC Summer Swim Team
The SDAC summer swim team focuses on building endurance and improving skills in all four competitive strokes:  freestyle, backstroke, breastroke and butterfly.  The swimmers will be under the supervision of United States Swimming registered coaches, who have many years teaching experience.  The swimmers will participate in fun meets throughout the summer.  Games and drills will be taught while having fun and building endurance.  

• June 11 - August 3 (8 weeks)
• The cost for the summer program is $250.00
• All practices are coached by certified United States Swimming Coaches
• Flexible Schedule offered 10:30am - 11:30am or 4:00pm - 5:00pm
• You may register by mail or in person Monday - Friday from 3:00 - 7:00pm at the Rancho Bernardo pool office. Sign-up early!
• Al participants recieve a team t-shirt and team cap
• Participation in fun meets are offered with ribbons

Rancho Bernardo High School Swim Lessons
All sign-ups for swim lessons will take place at the Rancho Bernardo High School pool office.  Mail-in registrations cannot be accommodated.  Please note that class sizes are limited, so sign-up early!

• All PUSD Employees first day to sign-up is Wednesday May 9, 2012 from 2:30pm - 8:00pm in the pool office.
• The first day for everyone to sign-up is Monday May 14, 2012 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm in the pool office.

New Swimmer and Tryout Information
If you are interested in joining SDAC for the 2011/2012 season then please schedule a tryout.  Tryouts will only be conducted on the first and last Monday of every month.  To start the process, please contact the SDAC Staff.  

USA Swimming Publishes Top 10 2010-2011 in Splash
Congratulations to Trent Williams for being the 3rd fastest 17-year old in the country in the 200 meter freestyle with a time of 1.52.14L. 

USA Swimming - All-Time Top 100
Congratulations to Trent Williams who made the Top 100 list of all time for USA Swimming.  Trent is 37th in the 200 yard free for 15-16 year olds with a time of 1.37.96. 

USA Swimming 2011-2012 National Junior Team
Congratulations to Trent Williams for being selected to the USA Swimming National Junior Team.  This past year was a big year for Trent as he went to Nationals this past Summer where he earned his Olympic trials time in the 200 free, competed on the Fina World Junior Championship Team for the USA and now has earned a spot on the USA National Junior Team. 

The top six athletes in Olympic Events from 2011 ConocoPhillips Nationals Championships have qualified for the 2011-2012 National Junior team.  For complete selection criteria and team roster click here.

Congratulations to Trent Williams for making the World Fina Junior Team.  A total of 41 swimmers will compete  

SDAC New Season Information
The new seasons practice schedule, meet schedule, season plan, goal sheets and all other material pertaining to next season have been updated.  Please go to the forms section of the website and print out appropriate forms to start the new season.                    

SDAC Achieves Bronze Medal for 2012
 For the third year in a row, SDAC is awarded the Bronze Medal in the USA Swimming Club Excellence Program. The USA Swimming Club Excellence Program is a voluntary program that identifies and recognizes USA Swimming clubs for their commitment to performance excellence.  

SDAC Motivational Patch and Tag Program
The SDAC Booster Club has started the motivational program in order to recognize the achievements of our age group swimmers. We hope all age group swimmers participate. Please read more about the Motivational Patch and Tag Program.
